An ethics answer is stronger when it names a real person, what they did and a number you can quote. This book gives you 84 such examples: people and organisations honoured between 2021 and 2026 with the Padma awards, the Bharat Ratna, the Nobel Peace Prize, the Ramon Magsaysay Award, UNEP Champions of the Earth and four more international awards. Each one sits under the one value its work shows most clearly, and the values are grouped the way the syllabus groups them, so you can go from a topic to an example in seconds.

Every profile follows the same order: what the person did, three or four figures you can quote, why the work fits the value, one more value it can also illustrate, and a line or two to use in your answer. Where sources differ, the lower figure is used, and numbers an organisation reports about itself are marked as such. The book closes with tables of every awardee in it, by award and year, and the official lists they come from.
